Have you ever used the Shutterfly free share sites? Since having a younger grade level of students, we take more pictures. It is great for keeping memories and reminding students of what we have learned during the school year. I have found that the free Shutterfly share site is a great way to share photos and videos with parents. Of course you will need to get written permission, but the site only allows parents who are invited. It also allows you to share a calendar, volunteer positions, and a message board.

2. Make a log in.
3. Go to share sites.
4. Have fun creating.

I have put together a broad lesson plan that can be used with any of the Words Their way spelling patterns. You may need to change the standards based on your state. I use these lesson plans with my assistants, as it is easy for them to follow along.

Math Warm Ups

I have created a math warm up that consists of:
- Identifying numbers that come before and after on a number line.
- Identifying numbers.
- Addition problems
- Counting objects

This first set is for numbers 1-10. More sets should be coming out in the near future. I will also be providing these warm up sheets in bundle packs and thematic packs.

Emergent Readers

During my last year of teaching special ed. for K-2, I have learned how much my students love to read about their friends and family. It is very motivating for them to read, write, label, and draw about people they know. Therefore, I have made 2 emergent reader books that incorporate the theme of friends and family. Students have the opportunity to be apart of the process of making these books. You can have students glue pictures or draw pictures. Students also have the choice to write the names of their family members and friends. I hope you enjoy!
